About ABM

The Mueller family founded their company in the late 1920s as a component manufacturer for brass instruments. After World War II, they were banished from their production center in Schoenbach and opened a grocery store near Nuremberg. However, they resumed production in their garage. In the postwar period, they became major suppliers for German guitar makers Hoefner and Framus. The company expanded several times to meet demand, but Framus eventually went bankrupt in the 1970s. Klaus Mueller took over the company in the 1980s and focused on supplying high-quality components to progressive guitar makers. After Klaus’s sudden death, ABM was taken over by Father and son Hildebrand in 2008. ABM operates with slim hierarchy, self-optimizing production processes, and transparency. They plan to create an audio measuring device in 2018 and pride themselves on supplying world-famous market leaders. They offer a wide range of products and have a new website to showcase their items and provide direct access to customers. All products are designed and manufactured in Berlin and sold worldwide.
