TiSonix USA, Inc was founded by materials engineer Ben McCabe in California that specialized in crafting high-quality titanium components for electric guitars, with a particular focus on tremolo systems. In collaboration with Floyd Rose, this led to the development of the Titanium Tremolo System, renowned for its durability and tonal clarity. This system, featuring components formed and machined from titanium, has been tested in excess of 12,000 cycles with no measurable wear at the knife edges, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.

In addition to the Titanium Tremolo System, TiSonix offers a range of titanium guitar parts, including:

  • Titanium Tune-o-Matic Style Bridge: Modeled after the original design introduced by Gibson in the 1950s, this bridge is made entirely of aerospace-grade titanium alloy, providing enhanced sustain and clarity.

  • Titanium Stratocaster Bridge: A complete bridge assembly for Stratocaster-style guitars, featuring titanium saddles, bridge plate, and tremolo block, designed to improve tonal response and reduce weight.

Consumer reviews highlight the exceptional sustain and clarity provided by TiSonix’s titanium components. Users have noted significant improvements in note separation and overall tonal quality, particularly when using high-gain settings. The durability of titanium ensures that these components maintain their performance over time, making them a valuable investment for serious musicians.

Tisonix is now believed to be owned by Geoffrey McCabe of Sophia Tremolos along with Ping Well Industries.
